Despite being a collegiate athlete and longtime yogi, I spent years overcoming significant setbacks with my health and managing chronic back pain. When I was finally on the other side, I was loaded with energy, desperate to get strong, to find self-esteem and establish a regular routine at the gym again, but I felt wildly overwhelmed, intimidated and confused both on where to start and what approach might be right for me. I hated cardio, I will only run if someone is chasing me and weightlifting scared me.
After taking one TRX class with Mike, I was instantly drawn to his passion, energy, commitment and knowledge and we began working together, one-on-one. For the last 3 years, I have seen Mike at least once a week and through his instruction, encouragement and constant challenges, I am STRONGER, more CONFIDENT and more FIT than I have ever been in my entire life and thanks to Mike – I learned I absolutely LOVE weight lifting. I love that Mike believes in me and sees my potential even when I can’t and even after 3 years together he STILL gives me new challenges each week that push me and excite me – our time together has been truly PRICELESS in my health and healing journey!
