I wanted to take some time to give you some positive feedback about Mike Culbertson.  I have really enjoyed my personal training sessions with him.  His style really fits my own in terms of the right mix of tough love, motivation, and encouragement.

I am a complete neophyte in terms of exercising, but he is a great teacher of new exercises – telling me how as well as showing me how.  Appealing to my sense of wanting to know why, he explains in layman’s terms which muscles I am working on and what it will do to help me be stronger.  More importantly he allows me the time to self-correct, commends me when I do something right, and encourages me gently when he knows I can do better. He has helped me attain all the goals I set forth at the beginning of our training sessions: I feel stronger, have more energy, and I am more fit than I have ever been.  He has helped me to build self-confidence and my self-esteem. The compliments frommy coworkers and family haven’t hurt either.

Despite being a collegiate athlete and longtime yogi, I spent years overcoming significant setbacks with my health and managing chronic back pain. My trainer is fantastic! He is generous with his time and my day is always better after having my sessions with him.
